E-Scooter Ban
There is an article in today’s New York Times article about why New York does not allow electric scooters. According to the story, “Lawmakers worry that scooters are too dangerous, especially in Manhattan, where cars, pedestrians and cycles already compete for limited street space.”

E-Scooter Ban
France Bans Electric Scooters From Sidewalks, Citing Rise in Accidents
CNN reports that, “France will ban electric scooters from its sidewalks [starting in] September, after locals grew frustrated with the vehicles congesting public areas and causing an increase in accidents.” In September, riders will be fined 135 euros ($150) if they use e-scooters on sidewalks.
